In this article we will cover the various SamCart pricing tiers available, what you get in each one, the pros and cons of SamCart in general and why ultimately we believe ClickFunnels is still the better overall choice.

SamCart Price Review
When it comes to SamCart pricing, you essentially have a choice of three different tiers to choose from:
As you will see these have been categorized into ‘Launch’, ‘Grow’ and ‘Scale’ tiers and they range in cost from $49 per month up to $199 per month.
One thing that’s important to note is that these prices can change at any time.
In fact, while we were researching this article, we discovered that not too long ago SamCart used to have a $19 per month ‘basic’ plan but that simply does not exist anymore.
Similarly the ‘Grow’ plan used to be called the ‘Pro’ plan and the ‘Scale’ plan the ‘Premium’ Plan.
While we will do our best to keep this article updated, it is therefore important that you always do your own research when it comes to checking prices for the latest updates.
That said, at the time of writing at least, all SamCart pricing tiers do offer a 14 day free trial and so each of these will be considered in more detail now:
SamCart Price Tier 1: ‘Launch’ / $49 per month
As you might expect, the introductory SamCart price tier does not have a ton of features and does come with some limitations such as the inability to even remove the SamCart branding from any of your pages.
We don’t know about you but having unprofessional pages stuffed with SamCart badges and logos is a no-go for us.
Furthermore, usage is limited to a single user and unfortunately there is only one payment integration and no reporting.
While ‘Launch’ may sound better than ‘Basic’ from a marketing perspective, basic feels like a more appropriate description of this pricing tier.
If anything it feels like SamCart just hiked the price $30 a month and left everything else unchanged.
SamCart Price Tier 2: ‘Scale’ / $99 per month
With the SamCart ‘Scale’ plan, you finally at least get some enhanced features – up to 3 users, some reporting (although we’re not sure we’d classify getting any reporting as enhanced!), multiple payment gateway options (like Stripe) and some CRM related features like:
- Customer Management
- Subscription Charge Reminders
- Advanced Subscription Cancellations
You also get Chat support from the SamCart Team, unlike in the ‘Launch’ Plan where you are left to leverage a self-service knowledge base option only.
SamCart Price Tier 3: ‘Scale’ / $199 per month
Finally there’s the big daddy – the ‘Scale’ package that costs a whopping $199 per month.
Certainly not cheap and finally loaded with some half decent options, we just can’t help but think that things like Cart Abandonment and A/B testing feel like features you would need much earlier in your online journey.
For that reason we are not convinced that SamCart is really offering value for money given the price, especially when you consider that in other tools – such as ClickFunnels – many of these features are offering in their entry level plan as standard.
SamCart Alternative: Why In The Battle of SamCart Vs ClickFunnels, ClickFunnels Wins Every Time
VS
If you haven’t guessed by now, we are firmly of the opinion that for the money ClickFunnels is a better way to go than SamCart.
ClickFunnels, which also has a 14 day free trial, offers a monthly plan of $97 – two dollars less per month than SamCart – yet it is packed with a lot more features.
Unlike SamCart which as the name would suggest is primarily designed around the shopping cart aspect of selling online, ClickFunnels does a whole lot more but enabling you to turn a visitor into a lead and a lead into a customer.
ClickFunnels will help you to ‘funnel‘ your customer through the entire buying process with features such as Opt-Ins, Order Forms, Order Bumps and 1-Click Upsells coming as standard.
By comparison, just to have a number of the same features on SamCart, will in fact require you to shell out $199 per month for the ‘Scale’ plan.
We don’t know about you, but as marketers ourselves thats a little too rich for our tastes.
